Las del Río Caroline Giménez Natechave Naranja 2023 is an orange wine made by Caroline Giménez and Jérôme Saurigny under the Las del Río project, in Rochefort-sur-Loire, Loire Valley, France.
It is a single-varietal Chenin Blanc. The grapes come from organically farmed vineyards planted on the Loire’s characteristic schist and limestone soils.
The wine undergoes several weeks of skin maceration before fermenting spontaneously with native yeasts. It is made with minimal intervention, aiming to preserve the energy and pure character of the fruit.
The wine is bottled unfiltered, unfined and with a minimal addition of sulphur.
