Eduardo Torres Versante Nord Tinto 2022
Eduardo Torres Versante Nord Red 2022 is a red wine produced by Eduardo Torres on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, in Sicily.
It is a blend of Nerello Mascalese (80%) and other native varieties, sourced from two north-facing parcels, Pietramarina and Crasa. The vines are approximately 50 years old.
The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, macerating on the skins for 15 days in concrete tanks without temperature control.
It is then aged for 16 months in Slovenian oak foudres ranging from 7.5 to 30 hectolitres.
