Henri Chauvet Braconnage 2024 Red Wine
Henri Chauvet Braconnage Red 2024 is a red wine produced by Henri Chauvet in the Auvergne region, France.
The wine is a single-varietal Gamay made from grapes sourced from organically farmed vineyards planted on light, shallow soils. This cuvée is produced from a selection of grapes purchased from trusted growers.
The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Whole-cluster maceration is followed by gentle pressing.
The wine is then aged for 9 months in stoneware jars, with a small proportion (5–10%) matured in old French oak barrels. It is bottled without fining or filtration and with only a micro-dose of added sulphur.
