Henri Chauvet A Fleur de Peau White 2023 is a white wine produced by Henri Chauvet in the Auvergne region, France.
The wine is a single-varietal Chardonnay sourced from volcanic hillside vineyards. Direct pressing preserves the purity of the fruit and the finesse of the wine, while the volcanic, basaltic, marl and clay soils give it a distinctive mineral character and remarkable freshness.
Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts using a gentle, low-intervention approach to preserve the natural expression of the terroir. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration and with minimal added sulphur, reflecting Henri Chauvet's philosophy of precise, energetic natural wines.
