Henri Chauvet En Attendant la Pluie Red 2023 is a red wine produced by Henri Chauvet as a négociant in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Burgundy.
The wine is a single-varietal Pinot Noir from vineyards with clay-limestone soils and southern exposure. It undergoes whole-cluster maceration for 12 days in both wooden tronconic vats and stainless steel tanks. Only gentle pump-overs are performed to moisten the cap.
The wine is aged for 9 months in used French oak barrels, followed by 9 months of bottle aging.
