Pedro Méndez Viruxe 2020 Red Wine
Pedro Méndez Viruxe Tinto 2020 is a red wine produced by Bodegas Pedro Méndez from a small vineyard plot in Meaño (Val do Salnés) with vines over 60 years old.
The wine is a single-varietal Mencía. It ferments spontaneously with native yeasts and is gently pressed.
It undergoes nine months of aging in French oak, followed by an additional two months in stainless steel tanks after racking. A light filtration is performed, and low doses of sulfur dioxide are added at bottling.
