Vincent Paris Cornas Granit 30 2020 Red Wine
Vincent Paris Cornas Granit 30 2020 is a red wine made by Vincent Paris in Cornas, Northern Rhône Valley, France.
The wine is a single-varietal Syrah from young vines around 15 years old, planted on granite soils on plots with a 30% slope, which gives the cuvée its name. The grapes are hand-harvested and completely destemmed, followed by a cold maceration of approximately one week.
Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, with pump-overs and pigeage twice a day for around three weeks.
The wine is then kept for 3 months in stainless steel tanks and around one year in used oak barrels aged between 2 and 8 years, where it also undergoes malolactic fermentation.
