Bencze Olaszrizling 2022 White Wine
Bencze Olaszrizling Blanco 2022 is a white wine crafted by István Bencze on the northern shores of Lake Balaton.
It is a single-varietal Olaszrizling sourced from vineyards planted in 2018 on basaltic and volcanic soils.
The grapes undergo direct pressing, followed by aging in oval stoneware vats for 13 months on their own lees. The wine then rests for a minimum of 24 months in bottle before release.
It is bottled unfiltered and unfined, with no added sulfites. Vineyard work follows the principles of biodynamic agriculture.
