Borja Perez Artífice Listán 2021 White Wine
Borja Pérez Artífice Listán Blanco 2021 is a white wine produced by Borja Pérez Winery in Llanitos Perera, the highest area of the village of Icod in Tenerife. It comes from old vines over 80 years of age, trained in the traditional parral system and planted on stony soils with a high sand content. Borja focuses on terroir-driven wines influenced by volcanic soils, the Atlantic Ocean, and the trade winds.
After the completion of alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to barrel, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and remains on its lees for 12 months. Once aging is complete, the three barrels are blended and the wine is lightly filtered and clarified before bottling. Production is limited to fewer than 1,000 bottles.
