Candelario 2025 White Wine
Candelario Blanco 2025 is a white wine made by Michael Candelario in Puntagorda, in the northwest of La Palma, Canary Islands, under the La Palma DO.
It is a blend of native grape varieties, primarily Listán Blanco, Albillo Criollo and Vijariego Blanco, sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the area, including old family-owned vines. The vineyards grow on steep terraced slopes, on volcanic soils that contribute to the character of the wines.
The grapes are harvested by hand, and the winemaking follows a low-intervention approach aimed at preserving the identity of the varieties and the vineyard sites.
