Eulogio Pomares Zarate Tras Da Viña Blanco 2020 Magnum
Zárate Tras da Viña 2020 is a white wine made by Bodegas Zárate in Val do Salnés, D.O. Rías Baixas, Galicia.
It is a single-varietal Albariño from Pago Tras da Viña, a 0.6-hectare plot planted in 1965, with a south-facing exposure and deep granite and sandy soils rich in organic matter.
The grapes are hand-harvested and selected in the vineyard. The must ferments spontaneously in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is separated from the coarse lees and remains on its fine lees for 24 months, without bâtonnage.
The 2020 vintage underwent partial malolactic fermentation and has a total acidity of 6.9 g/l and 2.5 g/l of malic acid. The wine was made to evolve in bottle and develop its full potential over time.
