Hervé Villemade Cheverny Domaine 2023 White Wine
Marie Courtin Efflorescence Extra Brut is a white Champagne made by Dominique Moreau in Polisot, in the Côte des Bar, Champagne, France. The domaine follows organic and biodynamic farming principles and holds Ecocert and Demeter certifications.
It is a 100% Pinot Noir, sourced from a vineyard plot located on the lower part of a slope, where clay-limestone soils with Kimmeridgian limestone predominate. The vines are approximately 40–45 years old, propagated through massal selection and facing east and southeast.
The wine undergoes its second fermentation in the bottle and remains on its lees for approximately 36 months before disgorgement.
The Champagne is neither fined nor filtered and is made with zero dosage (0 g/l).
