Quinta Edmun Do Val espumoso ancestral Albariño
Quinta Edmun do Val Ancestral Albariño Sparkling Wine is a sparkling wine produced by Quinta de Edmun do Val in Valença do Minho, within the Vinho Verde region of Portugal.
The wine is a single-varietal Alvarinho (Albariño) sourced from estate-owned vineyards planted on granite soils under a strong Atlantic influence.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts. Following the ancestral method, the wine completes its fermentation in bottle using only the grape’s natural sugars, without the addition of tirage liqueur.
The sparkling wine then remains on its lees in bottle before disgorgement, developing complexity and a fine mousse while preserving the freshness and character of the variety.
