Susana Esteban Tira O Veu 2019 White Wine
Susana Esteban Tira do Veu White 2019 is a white wine produced by Susana Esteban under the Alentejo appellation.
This wine is a blend of local varieties from vineyards over 85 years old, located in the Serra de São Mamede.
It follows a very unique winemaking process: fermentation takes place in clay amphorae with 30% of the grape skins, where it finishes fermenting and remains on the skins until December. At that point, the skins are removed, and the wine is returned to the amphora to round out the tannins. During this time, a velo de flor develops, which defines the character of the wine and is preserved until bottling.
Unfiltered, unstabilized, and unfined.
