Bereche et fils Mailly Grand Cru 2019
Bérêche et Fils Mailly Grand Cru 2019 is a sparkling wine produced by Bérêche & Fils in the Champagne region.
The wine is a single-varietal Pinot Noir sourced from parcels with vines around 50 years old, classified as Grand Cru in the Mailly-Champagne area. The vineyard, known as “Les Chalois”, features chalk and clay soils. It is located within the Champagne A.O.C., in the Grand Montagne de Reims Nord terroir.
The wine ferments spontaneously with native yeasts and slowly in French oak barrels, where it ages on its lees. It then undergoes bottle aging under cork for 54 months before disgorgement.
The wine is considered a Blanc de Noirs.
