Bereche & Fils Une Millesime 2015 Sparkling Wine

Bérêche & Fils Une Champagne Millésime 2015 is an Extra Brut Champagne made by Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche in the Champagne region of France.

It is a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, sourced from a selection of the finest barrels from different estate plots located in Avize, Cramant, Aÿ, Ambonnay, Mailly-Champagne, Le Cran and Les Beaux Regards in Ludes.

The vineyards are farmed using organic practices on chalk-rich limestone soils. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and ageing on the lees take place in 350-litre oak barrels, mainly previously used. Malolactic fermentation is avoided to preserve the wine’s acidity and freshness.

After blending, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle and ages for nine years on the lees. The dosage is 3 g/l.
