Bodegas Cerrón La servil 2024 Red Wine
Bodegas Cerrón La Servil Red 2024 is a red wine produced by Bodegas Cerrón within the D.O. Jumilla, specifically in the area of the appellation located in the province of Albacete, Spain.
The wine is a blend dominated by Monastrell(96%), complemented by small proportions of traditional local varieties such as Blanquilla, Moravia Agria and Rojal. The grapes come from old pre-phylloxera, own-rooted vineyards planted at elevations between 900 and 960 metres above sea level on limestone soils rich in sand and gravel.
Vinification is carried out with indigenous yeasts in wooden vats, followed by an ageing period of 14 months in large oak foudres ranging from 5,000 to 8,000 litres, allowing for a more subtle and controlled influence of the wood.
