Bodegas Cerrón Matas Altas Blanco 2025

Bodegas Cerrón Matas Altas White 2025 is a white wine made by the Cerdán siblings, Carlos, Juanjo and Lucía, in Fuente-Álamo, within the D.O. Jumilla, Murcia, Spain.

It is made from 50% Macabeo, 40% Airén and 10% indigenous grape varieties, including Malvasía and Tortosí, sourced from three old vineyard plots in the Fortaleza area, located between 840 and 900 metres above sea level. The ungrafted vines grow on limestone marl soils.

Harvesting is carried out by hand, and the different grape varieties are pressed and fermented together using indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for approximately 11 months in a 5,000-litre oak foudre, aiming to preserve the vineyard's expression and the mineral character of the soils. The 2025 vintage is Demeter certified.
