Phelan Farm Scythian Misturado de Cucamonga Red 2023 is a red wine produced by Phelan Farm in Cambria, California, under the Cucamonga Valley appellation.
It is a field blend of Alicante Bouschet, Mission, Grenache and Zinfandel, sourced from the ungrafted, dry-farmed Francis Road Vineyard, planted on sandy granite soils.
Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, using 100% whole clusters. The wine is then aged in 1,200-litre French oak foudres, unfiltered and with no added sulphites.
