Cati Ribot Escursac 2023 Red Wine
Cati Ribot Escursac is a red wine made from 100% Escursac, a native variety from Santa Margalida on the island of Palma de Mallorca. The vineyard soils are Call Vermell, a type of pink clay.
The harvest is carried out manually, with a strict carbonic maceration (without destemming), followed by gentle pressing to avoid over-extraction. Fermentation with native yeasts takes place in red clay amphorae, where the wine then rests for another 4 months. The wine is grown according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture, with natural vinification, and is vegan.
Escursac is a fruity, light, and fresh red wine — a tribute to the roots and purity of native varieties.
