Oriol Artigas El Rumbero Tinto 2023

Oriol Artigas La Rumbera Tinto 2023 is a red wine produced by Oriol Artigas in Alella, just northeast of Barcelona

La Rumbera is made from Garnacha sourced from several vineyards between 35 and 80 years old, planted on white and pink granitic sandy soils (sauló) and Quaternary alluvial terraces rich in fossil deposits.

The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with whole clusters. Maceration with the skins lasts for five days, followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages for seven months on its fine lees in the same tanks, with a small portion (8%) matured in used French oak barrels.

The wine is bottled without fining, stabilization, or filtration, and with no added sulphites.
