Tanca Nica Ghirbí 2023 White Wine
Tanca Nica Ghirbì Bianco Sparkling 2023 is a sparkling wine produced by Tanca Nica on the island of Pantelleria, an autonomous island that forms part of Sicily.
The wine is a single-varietal Moscatel of Alexandria from old vines grown in vineyards with volcanic soils. Harvesting is done by hand, followed by a gentle pressing. The wine then undergoes an overnight infusion with second-growth grapes.
Fermentation begins partially in stainless steel tanks and is completed in bottle. The wine is subsequently aged in bottle on fine lees, adding texture and complexity.
